FLORA POLICE REPORT

Flora Police Chief Jeremy Ruger released the following activity report on Monday.

On Wednesday, April 16th at 11:00 pm, Flora Police arrested Brett S. Evans, 31 of Flora for Domestic Battery following an altercation in the 700 block of West North Avenue.  Evans was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures.  He was later transported to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday, April 17th at 3:19 pm, Flora Police issued Nathan E. Yarnell, 34 of Flora, a local ordinance citation for Parking or Storage of Inoperable Motor Vehicle.

On Friday, April 18th at 11:12 pm, Flora Police arrested Jason W. Bissey, 45 of Flora, on an outstanding Clay County Warrant and for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer following an incident in the area of Presley Street.  Bissey was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures.  He was later transported to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday, April 25th at 6:35 am, Flora Police arrested Ethan K. Cosner, 25 of Flora for Driving While License Revoked following a traffic stop at the intersection of North Elm Street and East 2nd Street.  Cosner was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures.  He was later released with a Notice to Appear.

On Saturday, April 26th at 9:33 pm, Flora Police arrested Jannie L. Crews, 59 of Louisville for Retail Theft following an incident in the 1500 block of North Worthey Street.  Crews was transported to the Flora Police Department where she underwent booking procedures.  She was later released with a Notice to Appear.

On Sunday, April 27th at 5:10 am, Flora Police investigated a single vehicle traffic crash involving Gabriel R. Montero, 41 of Flora driving a 2023 Nissan at the intersection of North State Road and Mimosa Lane.  No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

On Friday, April 25th Flora’s Newest Police officer Holden Clifton graduated from the SWIC Police Academy, Chief Ruger was able to attend.

All persons are merely accused of the charges against them and are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
