FLORA BUILDING AND ZONING REPORT

Building and Zoning Official Chad Bayles submitted his monthly report for March during Monday’s Flora City Council meeting. 

Bayles’ Report shows seven new residential Construction projects were undertaken in March, valued at $76,600.

There were no new commercial projects started and there were no new industrial projects started in March.

That equates to overall, there were 7 total new projects in Flora valued at $76,600, with $325 collected in permit fees and $150 in deposit fees for March.

For the year-to-date Residential figures, there’s 23 total projects valued at $190,800.  For year-to-date Commercial projects there’s two valued at $904,000 and no Industrial projects for the year-to-date. 

Overall, for the year, there are 25 total projects valued at $1,094,800 with $1,470 collected in permit fees and $800 in deposit fees collected for 2025.
