FLORA CITY POLICE REPORT 4/16/24 Flora
Police Chief Guye Durre released the following activity report on Monday. On
Tuesday, April 9th at 7:16 pm, Flora Police issued Alexis B. Schock,
27 of Flora a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by Driver
following a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Washington Street. On
Tuesday, April 9th at 7:16 pm, Flora Police issued Monticia Allen,
38 of Beaumont, TX a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by
Passenger following a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Washington Street. On
Wednesday, April 10th at 8:14 am, Flora Police arrested James K.
Schwabe, 62 of Flora for Theft of Utility Services and Possession of
Methamphetamine following an incident in the 900 block of South Mill Street. Schwabe
was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking
procedures. He was later released with a Notice to Appear. On
Saturday, April 13th at 9:00 pm, Flora Police arrested Kyle A.
Lewis, 32 of Flora on an outstanding Jasper County Warrant, Driving While
License Revoked and Reckless Driving following a traffic crash in the 300 block
of Seminary Street. Lewis was transported to the Flora Police Department where
he underwent booking procedures and issued citations for the above offenses,
Disobeying a Stop Sign and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by Driver. He was
later transferred to the Clay County Sheriff’s office where he was transferred
to the custody of Jasper County. All
persons are merely accused of the charges against them and are presumed
innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
